The other way to look at it is that you're paying $21 per book--and these are really nice books collecting the entire Treehouse of Horror comic book run. The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Ominous Omnibus Trilogy The Treehouse of Horror Ominous Omnibuses are premium hardcover editions with die-cut, glow-in-the-dark slipcases with different artwork than the front and back covers. Each book has 400-plus pages with full-color illustrations and includes an introduction "written by" Bart, Lisa, or Marge. Abrams, The Simpsons comic book publisher, released Volume 1 in August 2022. The second book in the series hit stores in August 2023, and the trilogy came to its conclusion last August. The Ominous Omnibus Trilogy collects all 23 Treehouse of Horror comics published from 1995 to 2017. Just like the show, each comic is an anthology with multiple unrelated stories. The 23 comics collected in the omnibus editions include a total of 88 stories. so you're getting a ton of variety across the 1,232-page trilogy. The Simpsons annual Treehouse of Horror episode has become an iconic event throughout the show's unprecedented run. And while it's true there are many superb vignettes in the animated anthology series, some of the best horror-comedy tales starring Springfield's favorite family can be found in the comic books. The Simpsons comic books did a great job capturing the nightmarish energy of these special episodes.
