Paid DLC will arrive alongside free content and quality-of-life updates.
PowerWash Simulator 2 launches on October 23, and like the first game, players can expect a mix of paid and free post-launch DLC. Developer FuturLab says it's first focusing on fixes, further optimization, and quality-of-life improvements for the rest of 2025, and new game content will roll out through 2026.
In total, there'll be three "paid IP" DLC and three free jobs as part of the Caldera Chronicles, FuturLab says. Alongside bug fixes and new cosmetics, the studio is also planning community events for PowerWash Simulator 2.
We have our PowerWash Simulator 2 Roadmap to share with you all 💦 Coming in 2025/2026 ⤵️ - 3 Paid IP DLC - 3 Free Caldera Chronicles Jobs - A bucket full of other planned additions For the rest of 2025 we’re focusing on fixes, further optimisations and QOL improvements![image or embed]
The first PowerWash Simulator had some unexpected DLC after it was first released, as players could travel to Lara Croft's manor in a Tomb Raider crossover, clean up Midgar as part of a Final Fantasy 7 collaboration, and even engage in the nautical nonsense of SpongeBob SquarePants. Other DLC crossovers saw players explore the dirtier side of Wallace & Gromit, Warhammer 40,000, Shrek, and Back to the Future.
These DLC packs didn't feature any characters like Doc Brown or Cloud Strife, but players could clean up iconic locations and props like the DeLorean time machine and the Imperium's illustrious instruments of war. FuturLab hasn't revealed which IP it'll be collaborating with yet, and it has added that content could change in the future, based on community feedback or development.
PowerWash Simulator 2 will be available on Game Pass at launch for PC and Xbox Series X|S, and it'll also be on PS5.
