Now, those leaks have become a flood, with full-game spoilers breaking down every element of the story and gameplay from beginning to end. The situation has gotten bad enough that Capcom has issued a statement, promising that its lawyers are on the case as the publisher begs players to stop sharing spoilers. "Please don't post or share pre-release leaks and spoilers for Resident Evil Requiem," Capcom says in a tweet. "We really want everyone to enjoy the game's story and experience as much as possible. Our legal department will continue to issue takedowns and deletion notices for leaks in order to preserve your day-one experience." Generally I'd say narcing out fellow social media users to a corporation is bad form, but anybody dropping unmarked spoilers for an unreleased game probably deserves whatever Capcom has in store for them.
