Life is Strange: Reunion has been officially unveiled, and is set to serve as the conclusion of Max and Chloe's story over a decade since it started.
Officially unveiled during today's Life is Strange Reveal Livestream, Reunion is being developed by True Colors and Double Exposure developer Deck Nine, and is releasing surprisingly soon on March 26. This time, both Max and Chloe will be playable in the same game, with Max boasting her classic Rewind powers and Chloe having a "Backtalk" ability that can be used to access different places and influence suspects.

Suspects of what, I hear you ask? Well, we're heading back to Double Exposure's main setting, Caledon University, except this time, Max is a photography teacher. However, disaster strikes when the University goes up in flames, killing her friends and students. Thanks to her Rewind powers, Max manages to buy herself three days to figure out how the blaze began and how to stop it.
Life is Strange: Reunion β Everything we know so far
Life is Strange: Reunion brings Max and Chloe back together in college, according to ratings leak
As Life is Strange Reunion brings Max and Chloe back, Deck Nine promises it "isn't just for people who sacrificed Arcadia Bay"
It's at this point that Chloe appears, thanks to certain events at the end of Life is Strange: Double Exposure (which we'll not get into here in case you've not played it yet). This time around, she's plagued by mysterious nightmares of a past she's not actually lived.
As always, choices will matter, and will affect the ending of the story, which is confirmed to be the finale of the two characters' saga. So, make of that what you will.
And again, it's really not long before we'll be able to find out what it's all about, with little over two months to go until launch. Given the recent PEGI age rating leak, Reunion's existence isn't exactly a shock, but that release date is certainly a welcome surprise.
