After months of rumors and supposed "leaks" about a potential PS5 port for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, developer Warhorse Studios has announced a "special" stream scheduled to drop tomorrow – one that players are convinced will bring the news they so desire. If you're out of the loop, discussions surrounding a possible current-gen version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance have been making rounds online for quite some time now – especially as sequel Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 continues to attract new fans. There hasn't been any solid confirmation from Warhorse just yet; however, that's exactly what the community is hoping to receive tomorrow. In a recent announcement on Steam, the devs declare that "February is a month of celebration for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and we want to share that excitement with the community that has supported us throughout this journey." How will they be doing that? Why, "a special anniversary livestream," of course. Unsurprisingly, comments already show some serious hopium. As one reads, "Next gen update…" Hope for a Kingdom Come: Deliverance PS5 port picks up momentum thanks to PlayStation Store leak Bethesda's much-rumored Starfield PS5 port is reportedly coming in 2 months, according to latest leak The Elder Scrolls 6 probably isn't making an appearance at The Game Awards, and once again, the RPG community is begging Bethesda for literally anything: "Please, Todd" Elsewhere, a Reddit thread about the anniversary stream – that so aptly points out how it will follow "months of leaks and rumors about a native current-gen version of KCD1" – features even more hopeful replies. One person speculates, "The game already has an X|S logo on Xbox, so the new version is dropping tomorrow" – and, I mean, they aren't wrong about the first bit. Another fan says they'd love a "Switch 2 update." Some folks think Warhorse will go all out, though, apparently – not just with a current-gen port, but a remaster. "Yup," as one player writes, "100% remaster announcement." Someone else chimes in, "Considering the PS store leaks, I can't imagine when else they'd announce this." Honestly, I don't want to contribute to all the, uh… getting people's hopes up, but I do agree that this anniversary stream seems like the perfect opportunity. If Warhorse doesn't unveil some sort of current-gen version or remaster tomorrow, I'm not sure when they will – if at all. For anyone interested in seeing what happens, the stream goes live on Twitch at 7:30 AM PST / 4:30 PM CET / 3:30 PM GMT.
