The indie studio has announced that Hollow Knight will be getting a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition in 2026, with a performance update also inbound for all other platforms. Team Cherry says the Hollow Knight update will be similar to the upgrade that Silksong received in its Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: high frame rate modes, options for higher resolutions, and other graphical upgrades.
