Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 is still largely shrouded in mystery, but director Naoki Hamaguchi has confirmed that an enhanced and expanded version of Queen's Blood, the fan-favorite card game introduced in Rebirth, will be a big feature in the upcoming JRPG. "Queen’s Blood is a very popular and beloved minigame, and I believe a lot of people are still wanting something like that," Hamaguchi told Polygon. "I want to expand on Queen’s Blood so that we are enhancing it, and giving you a more powered-up version of it when you see that third installment… Queen’s Blood is still going to be available in the third installment. We just want to expand on it." Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is already a massive time sink, and I'm typically hesitant to spend additional time playing largely non-story-related minigames, but damn it, Queen's Blood is just so satisfying once it clicks, and it has a whole dedicated side quest that's also very worthwhile.
