A new Arc Raiders update, version 1.12.0, is rolling out now, bringing with it two exploit fixes as well as "various out of bounds" issues on Stella Montis. The Arc Raiders 1.12.0 patch notes, shared by Embark Studios today, are short but sweet, and while there are a few complaints online from players who were hoping for a little more, these all seem like solid changes. To start, two duplication exploits – one for items and one for ammo – have been fixed, which should help even out the playing field for anyone playing fairly. Otherwise, Embark has "fixed some cases where players were able to damage others from behind geometry," as well as "various out of bounds map locations on Stella Montis." So, it sounds like it's less likely you'll be shot from the void going forward, but in the initial reaction to the patch notes, some players suspect that the phrasing suggests that the issue might not be gone entirely yet. Arc Raiders update stops you getting shot through walls, but players are demanding Embark fix a progression bug Arc Raiders devs drop "very hot fix" to finally stomp the door and weapon exploits that have been plaguing the game since launch Embark lowers Arc Raiders blueprint drop rate after setting it too high and making it too easy to grind weapons Some players are frustrated that certain other problems remain unfixed – namely, the crafting bug that can see your crafting randomly reset in the middle of doing it, and certain bugged trophies that some players are finding impossible to unlock, locking them out from completing them all. "When will they fix the bugged trophy/achievements?" one player asks. "For the love of God tell me the crafting bug is fixed this week," writes another. Despite some complaints, however, others are still pleased with Embark's progress. "They fixed the out of bounds. Not every patch is a banger, but they are fixing every issue people care about at a pretty good pace," writes one. "Fixed two of the biggest issues last week and another massive issue this week. Don't understand the hate," another adds. It's likely that Embark has a lot of focus on its anti-cheat measures behind the scenes, too, following a statement earlier this month in which the studio confirmed that "over the next few weeks, we are implementing significant changes to our rulesets and deploying new detection mechanisms to identify and remove cheaters." These plans included "addressing the 'out of map' glitch," so the devs are certainly on top of that. Arc Raiders devs are looking at buffs for terrible skills: "We know. There's certain skills I don't choose ... we're not deaf to the state of it."
