Well, the new Ravensburger Super Mario 3D puzzles are exactly that. The new models are launching in the coming weeks, starting with the $19 Super Mario Sneaker 3D jigsaw puzzle on December 5. This will be followed by the Super Mario Pencil Cup on January 3, 2026. Preorders for both puzzles are available at Amazon. The Super Mario Sneaker 3D jigsaw puzzle is designed to resemble a full-size, Converse-like shoe. It features 108 plastic pieces designed to easily click into place. Once assembled, the outside of the shoe features a colorful image of Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, and Princess Peach, while Mario-themed decals decorate the tongue of the shoe puzzle. The Super Mario Pencil Cup is a 54-piece 3D project featuring a panoramic design of Mario, Bowser, and the rest of the Mushroom Kingdom gang. Like Ravensburger's other 3D models, each plastic piece is numbered and designed to securely snap in place, which should make for a stress-free build. Reviews for both of these puzzles have been overwhelmingly positive--they first launched in the US--and if you'd like to flesh out the collection, Ravensburger offers several more sets based on popular franchises. The Sonic 3D Sneaker puzzle features a collage of Sonic alongside his allies and enemies, while anyone who appreciates a good pondering of an orb will want to grab the Sonic Puzzle Ball for a spherical build. Ravensburger also has Pokemon-themed pencil organizers and puzzles, including displays based on the iconic PokeBall and Master Ball. For fans of classic arcade games, there's also Pac-Man fans can build a pen and pencil organizer. If you're interested in more buildable figures based on Pokemon, you'll want to check out Spin Master's line of 4D Build Pokemon puzzles. There are multiple model kits available, including Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur. Each one features a fun, action-packed pose and is constructed from high-end EPS foam pieces.
